Lee-Ann

SP Director of Coaching

Team: NBA - Washington Wizard Girls

Dance|Dance Technique|Flexibility

Lee-Ann grew up in Southern Maryland, where she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern dance at Gracie's Guys & Gals Dance Studio. As a young dancer, she competed nationally and performed on various stages, such as Tomorrowland Stage at Walt Disney World and the NYC Tap Dance Festival. 

Lee-Ann earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of Maryland, where she focused on her own choreographic development. She has performed in Maryland Dance Ensemble and presented pieces for Maryland Choreographer’s Showcase. She danced professionally for the NBA’s Washington Wizards dance team for three seasons.

Upon moving to Philly in 2013, Lee-Ann earned her MBA degree in business and works for a non-profit organization. She has been teaching dance to children and adults for over 12 years; specializing in jazz technique, ballet barre, and tap dance instruction. 

Along with dance, Lee-Ann is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200), teaching Vinyasa, Restorative, and Trauma-Sensitive yoga. Lee-Ann created her own business in Philadelphia called Two Hearts Dance & Yoga, which is a heartfelt experience of holistic movement practice, uniting communities and providing accessible opportunities for every body in motion.

Megs

SP Lead Technique Coach

Teams: NFL - Redskins & NBA - Wizards

A Stafford, Virginia native, Megs trained at the Barton and Williams School of Dance. Megs realized early on that her passion for teaching was as big as her dream to dance. During her college summers she was a Universal Dance Association Head Instructor where she taught and judged competitions all over the country. During the school year she was a company director and teacher for the Dance.Tech Performing Arts Studio in Blacksburg, Va.

After college Megs moved back up to Northern Virginia where she coached a local high school while teaching classes at Metropolitan Fine Arts Center. Her desire to perform landed her a spot on the NBA Washington Wizards Dance Team and then the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders. She retired from the Redskins after 3 years but still continues to work with the cheerleaders as a Sideline Assistant and is a coordinator for the “First Little Ladies Football”: the Junior Redskins Cheerleaders.

Barbra

Teams: NFL - Redskins; WTT - Kastles

Barbra was a four year NFL cheerleader for the Washington Redskins. During her professional cheerleading career, she traveled to Kuwait and Afghanistan to perform in military appreciation tours. Also, she was crowned twice as the Community Relations Star. After retiring from Redskins, Barbra joined the Washington Kastles of WTT. There she served as captain for three years before hanging up her pom poms. 

In addition, she was the cheer coach for the Stony Brook University Cheerleaders in New York. Prior to her pro career, she attended IUP and was a member of the dance team for three years and the captain for her final year.


Sammi Jo

Team: NFL - Baltimore Ravens

Sammi Jo’s professional cheerleading career started 3 years after she finished her Bachelor of Education Degree and Master’s Degrees in college. She made the Baltimore Ravens Cheerleading team on her first attempt. Her Rookie season, she traveled 218 miles (one way)… 436 miles round trip for an entire season before moving to Baltimore for her 2nd season. 

Sammi Jo went on to cheer for the Baltimore Ravens for 5 seasons, held the distinguished title as co-captain for one of her seasons and was featured as her own month in 4 Ravens swimsuit calendars. She also spent many hours volunteering at Ronald McDonald House and charity events around the DMV. She was awarded the “Unsung Hero” Award during her tenure with the Ravens. Sammi Jo ended her professional cheerleading career by cheering the Ravens to a Super Bowl 47 victory in New Orleans! 



Lizzie

Team: NFL - Miami Dolphins

Lizzie is a professional dancer, cheerleader, and personal trainer from Newport Beach, California. She holds a BFA in Dance from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).

Post graduation, Lizzie went on to continue her dance career in Los Angeles where she worked with various artists and choreographers.

Lizzie then went on to join the PCP to further her career as an NFL cheerleader and after graduating from the program, became a cheerleader for the Miami Dolphins.

Now living in Florida, Lizzie has retired from the field and is currently serving as the coach and choreographer for the Palm Beach Capos Cheerleaders.

When she's not dancing, you can find Lizzie coaching group fitness classes at Orangetheory Fitness or in the gym training clients. 

Katsura U.

Team: NFL - Las Vegas Raiderettes

Katsura has won top prizes in college and open division at the All Japan Cheer Dance Championships. After graduating from college, she worked as a college researcher and high school teacher in graduate school compiling research on a comparison of cheerleading between Japan and the United States. Katsura was a coach and deputy director of a college team and a social contribution. She appointed Kaminoyama City, Yamagata Prefecture as a special tourism ambassador, and while conducting PR activities for Kaminoyama City, she visited various parts of Japan and contributed to regional revitalization. In recognition of her achievements, she was commended by the Commissioner of the Tourism Agency in 2015. She has appeared in many domestic and international events, including works produced by Kansai Yamamoto who is a world-famous designer.


Katsura came to Sideline Prep in 2020 looking for guidance in the Pro Cheer industry. She joined their signature Pro Cheer Playbook Program, showed resilience and excellence leading her to graduate from the program. As a result of her hard work and ambition, Katsura is now an NFL cheerleader in Las Vegas and Sideline Prep Coach.

Kimberly

Team: NBA - Milwaukee Bucks

Kimberly grew up in the suburbs of Chicago where her dance journey started in high school. She cheered and was on her high school pom team. She competed and performed throughout college on urban hip-hop dance teams.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has been a nurse for over 9 years.

Kimberly enrolled in the PCP in 2020 Winter Program and in 2021 she made and lived her dream of dancing professionally for 2 years for the NBA Milwaukee Bucks dance team.

She is looking forward to working with future lovelies and giving back to the community that has made such a huge impact on her life!

Currently, Kimberly lives in Los Angeles, CA, and is excited to go from Pro Cheer Playbook Program graduate to Sideline Prep Coach!
